HealthTech Arkansas has formed a new partnership with a venture capital firm to provide increased opportunities for health care startups around the world.
SkyBrook Venture Partners, a firm that raises awareness of Central and Eastern Europe companies among U.S. investors, will be working with HealthTech Arkansas in the new partnership. As part of the new partnership, both organizations will evaluate SkyBrook client companies to determine if they can benefit from engaging with Arkansas health care providers and hospitals. In addition, the companies will work to connect SkyBrook researchers with Arkansas hospitals and researchers for potential collaborations, from cooperative research to development agreements.
“Partnering with SkyBrook Venture Partners will expand our ability to find new technologies that can benefit Arkansas healthcare providers, ultimately improving the level of care available in Arkansas,” HealthTech Arkansas director Jeff Stinson said in a statement. “Our goal is to bring people and innovative thinking to the Arkansas healthcare community that can improve our providers’ operations by improving quality of care, enhance efficiencies, reduce costs, and ultimately grow business opportunities in the state.”
This is the latest partnership that HealthTech Arkansas has announced. In August 2020, HealthTech Arkansas partnered with the Center with Advancing Innovation (CAI), an organization that launches startups around promising inventions.
