Jacob Leffert, MD, is the newest oncologist at CARTI. He will serve patients at the CARTI Clinic in Clinton as well as the CARTI Cancer Centers in Conway, Little Rock and Russellville.
“As patient need has risen, so too has our medical oncology program, ensuring no one must go without access to trusted cancer care,” said Grace Raja, M.D., CARTI’s medical director of medical oncology. “With his unique experience blending clinical practice and research, we are excited to welcome Dr. Leffert to our growing team of compassionate, committed physicians.”
Leffert earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology. He graduated with honors from Hendrix College with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is affiliated with the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
