Got a great business idea? The Venture Center is giving Arkansas entrepreneurs the chance to pitch their ideas and take home cash prizes.
On December 10, the Venture Center will hold its 2019 Pitch ‘N Pint competition, in which entrepreneurs deliver 60-second elevator pitches to a panel of judges and investors, as well as the crowd of 200 startup supporters.
Pitch ‘N Pint will be held Dec. 10, from 6-8 p.m., at South on Main in Little Rock.
“We have a wonderfully supportive community for entrepreneurs, and South on Main is the perfect place to launch our up-and-coming Arkansas businesses to the next level,” said Wayne Miller, Executive Director of The Venture Center. “Matt and Amy Bell embody the intersection of successful entrepreneurship and community support, and we’re excited to have one of our most anticipated community events on their stage.”
During the competition, the entrepreneurs will be going head-to-head for multiple cash prizes. The judges will be giving the main award. There will also be three audience awards. There’s also one more fun award: the “Ugly Sweater Winner.”

- Audience Third Place Winner: $250 Seed Capital

Audience members will participate in the voting by use state-of-the-art, text-your-vote technology.
Tickets for Pitch ‘N Pint are $10. Each ticket includes two drinks and appetizers.
Applications for the competition are open until November 15. Selected participants will be notified by November 22. An entry fee of $100 must be paid by December 6.
To be eligible for the competition, participants must be an Arkansas-based business with at least $25,000 in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and have been established for five years or less.
