One of Arkansas’ most prominent cheerleaders of free trade and entrepreneurship will make his way to Fayetteville for an evening-long discussion on just that.
Warren Stephens, chairman and CEO of Stephens, Inc., the world’s largest investment banking firm not on Wall Street, will speak at the David and Barbara Pryor Center for Arkansas Oral and Visual History on Tuesday, Oct. 8 beginning at 6 p.m.
Warren will be interviewed on stage by Caleb Talley of Startup Junkie, a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping Northwest Arkansas entrepreneurs grow and thrive.
“Startup Junkie works hard every day to help empower innovators and entrepreneurs,” Talley says. “It’s rewarding to have the moral support of one of Arkansas’ most revered businessmen. Mr. Stephens has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to business, and we’re excited to hear him speak on entrepreneurship in Arkansas.
“We also know that he’s a very busy man, and we’re very grateful that he would choose to spend his evening with us and the local entrepreneurial community,” he adds.
Stephens will be introduced on Tuesday by the University of Arkansas’ Walton School of Business Dean Matthew Waller.
The event will take place on the first floor on the Pryor Center, and refreshments will be available as guests enter the building.
Audience questions for Stephens can be submitted ahead of the event by emailing the question to caleb@startupjunkie.org. Include a name with your question for recognition on stage. There is no guarantee all questions will be read on stage.
