Hunter Yurachek will be joining the Little Rock Touchdown Club this Monday, Sept. 18 for the weekly meeting.
Hunter Yurachek has been the vice chancellor and director of athletics at the University of Arkansas since he was appointed to the position by Chancellor Joseph Steinmetz in late 2017. Before joining the U of A, Yurachek served as director of athletics at the University of Houston and Coastal Carolina University. Throughout the six years of his current position, the U of A has had three consecutive top-15 Directors’ Cup finishes, compared to just one top-15 finish in the first 24 years of the competition. Yurachek’s leadership has been successful not just for sports, but also for academics, with student-athletes in 2022-2023 earning a combined 3.2 cumulative GPA and 166 student-athletes earning their personal academic bests.
Tickets to see Yurachek speak at the Little Rock Touchdown Club are priced at $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Little Rock. Tickets can be purchased online.
