An Augusta business is the latest victim of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hardware and maintenance store White River Supply Inc. in Augusta announced that it would be closing its doors this month. In a social media post on Monday, the company revealed that it would be shutting down on April 30.
This post cited the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as the reason for going out of business. Starting Tuesday, April 20, the store will begin clearing out inventory, offering 50 percent off of all items.
Account balances at the store are required to be paid by the closing date.
