Welspun Tubular LLC has announced a $100 million investment to expand its pipe manufacturing capabilities at its Little Rock facility.
In collaboration with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and the Little Rock Regional Chamber, Welspun representatives shared that the project will add 175 jobs locally. The expansion will include pipes up to a 24-inch diameter and 0.750-inch wall thickness, with capacities reaching 350 KMTPA and product grades up to X80.
“This investment will enable us to further expand our leadership position in the oil and gas segment in North American market by enriching our product portfolio,” said Vipul Mathur, Welspun Corp Limited’s Managing Director and CEO.
Production is expected to begin in early 2026, following the completion of the facility upgrades in late 2025.
“Welspun Tubular’s $100 million investment helps solidify the Port of Little Rock’s role as a manufacturing hub for Central Arkansas’ economy. Our access to river, rail and road, combined with low taxes and pro-business leadership, help get projects like this done quickly,” said Gov. Sanders.
