Arkansas Entrepreneur Veronica Love Wins $3M FedEx Transportation Contract

Veronica Love, founder and CEO of Southern Carrier Services, secured a $3 million transportation contract with FedEx for areas surrounding Jonesboro.

The contract will bring new jobs to the area and make shipping to rural Arkansas areas easier, she told AMP.

Love founded Home Healthcare Agency of Arkansas in 2019 and later expanded her ventures in the healthcare sector with Southern Carrier Services, a non-emergency medical transport service.

She said Southern Carrier Services helped fill a gap in the state’s logistics needs, and this new FedEx contract is a continuation of that work. This contract makes Southern Carrier Services a full-service logistics company, she said.

Thanks to her husband, Ricky Love, who has experience in the auto industry, they were able to get vehicles to help facilitate the contract.

“I’m excited that we were granted this opportunity,” she said.
