Business sectors across the world have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, throwing the global economy into disarray. Shutdowns in the early months of the pandemic hampered commerce, along with social distancing requirements that have strained many businesses’ operations.
One of the primary challenges businesses have faced is securing their supply chains. Many companies and organizations have struggled with obtaining the necessary materials and supplies necessary to operate – a dilemma that has threatened companies’ very existences.
Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions and the Arkansas District Export Council is offering a webinar on Thursday, Sept. 17 that addresses supply chain issues and solutions for overcoming these difficulties. The webinar, entitled “Assessing & Reducing Your Supply Chain Risk,” will be paid for by Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions and is free of charge for viewers.
Robert Martichenko, the senior vice president of supply chain company Transplace and former CEO of LeanCor, will headline the webinar, discussing how companies can assess and reduce supply chain risks. Martichenko will focus on three traits – visibility, capability and resilience – during the webinar.
Webinar participants will receive a copy of Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions’ e-book “De-Risk Your Supply Chain: Robust Resilience in an Age of Turbulence” as well as a free supply chain assessment developed by LeanCor.
