An update on the University of Arkansas’ strategic plans is coming soon.
UA Chancellor Joe Steinmetz is scheduled to deliver a State of the University address on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Faulkner Performing Arts Center in Fayetteville. He is expected to discuss the university’s current status and its long-term goals, as the institution moves toward the 150thanniversary of its founding.
“This is an important time in our history as we look ahead to our sesquicentennial in 2021 as well as the changing landscape of higher education in Arkansas,” Steinmetz said in a statement. “I look forward to sharing some of the great things going on at the university and the progress we’re making on our priorities.”
The talk will be open to the public and will also be livestreamed and recorded. A copy of the recorded version will be made available here.
