The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has selected MHP/Team SI as the university’s official agency of record (AOR). The partnership with the LIttle Rock-based marketing agency, announced on Feb. 10, is projected to greatly increase the university’s marketing and communications efforts.
An agency of record is an individual or entity with a contractual agreement with a policy owner to purchase advertising time or space on behalf of the policy owner they are contracted to.
MHP/Team SI and UA Little Rock began collaborating in 2019, and in 2020, UA Little Rock once again used the agency for public relations support. Officially naming MHP/Team SI as the university’s AOR solidifies a future of marketing endeavors to continue promoting the influence the university has on the Little Rock community.
“This partnership marks the next step in the university’s journey of transformation,” UA Little Rock Chancellor Christina Drale said in the press release. “MHP/Team SI is the perfect partner to help us deepen the confidence that students and community members have in our university. Their expertise will enhance our ability to invest in students to create a skilled workforce to fuel central Arkansas’ businesses, nonprofits and local government.”
The marketing agency has a 48-year history of representing local, national and international clients with higher education being one of many areas of expertise. The agency combines traditional marketing with digital in what the agency calls “TraDigital.” With locations in Little Rock and Rogers, the agency has grown significantly in marketing outreach efforts.
“Our agency is thrilled to be providing our marketing and public relations expertise to support the university and its mission,” Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl, president and CEO of MHP/Team SI, said in the university’s press release for the partnership. “As a business owner and a member of the UA Little Rock College of Business Advisory Board, I’ve personally experienced the role the university plays in equipping the workforce in central Arkansas. We are inspired by UA Little Rock’s dedication to supporting its students and the community, and are ready to continue doing great work together.”
