COVID-19 has left almost no industry untouched as it has swept the globe. One of the hardest hit has been the entertainment industry, with film and TV sets shut down for months.
Six female entertainment figures will be discussing the impact that the novel coronavirus pandemic has had on their industry in a virtual panel. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host “Sink or Swim: A Conversation of Adaptation and Evolution in Entertainment in the Covid Reality.”
The virtual panel will feature Retta, Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul, Jessie Blackwell, Barbie Ferreira and Bonnie Liedtke, and will be moderated by Herring PR founder and owner Tej Bhatia Herring.
Retta is an actor best known from the NBC shows Parks and Recreation and Good Girls. Bulochnikov-Paulis the senior vice president of communications with ABC Entertainment, while Blackwell is a talent agent with Aperture Talent Agency. Ferreira is an actor from the shows Euphoria and UNpregnant. Liedtke is a talent manager with Authentic Talent and Literary Management.
