Tyson Foods Inc. has been selected to showcase its products at the White House as part of the Made in America Showcase.
One company from all 50 states was selected to display their products as part of the showcase. This marks the fourth consecutive year
President Donald Trump issued a proclaimation on Oct. 3 declaring that Oct. 5 was Oct. 5 was Made in America Day and Oct. 4 through Oct. 10 was Made in America Week.
“The President extends his sincere appreciation to the companies that planned to attend this year’s event at the White House,” Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement. “He is incredibly proud of their grit, ingenuity, and use of American labor to manufacture exceptional products in the homeland.”
It is unclear when the showcase will take place. According to a local news report, the event was postponed as a result of Trump’s recent COVID-19 diagnosis.
