The U.S. Veterans Hall of Fame has announced that Officer Tommy Norman of the North Little Rock Police Department will be honored as its first-ever Citizen of the Year during the 2025 Induction Ceremony. In recognition of his unwavering service and impact, the award will also bear his name moving forward.
Norman, known across Arkansas and beyond for his compassionate, community-driven approach to policing, was selected for his embodiment of the values the Hall of Fame seeks to celebrate.
“Officer Norman, as he is known by title and adoringly by his community, embodies all of the characteristics that our public servants should possess,” the U.S. Veterans Hall of Fame shared in its announcement.
The newly named Officer Tommy Norman Citizen of the Year Award will be presented annually to an individual of outstanding character who selflessly serves and positively impacts the lives of Americans.
The 2025 U.S. Veterans Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. For additional details and ticket information, click here.
