Today’s Power, Inc. (TPI), a solar energy company based in Little Rock, is moving its headquarters to North Little Rock. According to company representatives, the move was motivated by TPI’s growth.
“We are moving because we outgrew our current operations,” Jennah Denney, TPI Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator, told Arkansas Money and Politics. “We needed extra space to accommodate our growing staff and an opportunity to have a headquarters of our own.”
The new facility boasts 42,000 square feet of space compared to TPI’s former headquarters, which had only 10,000 square feet. In addition, the new facility features a state-of-the-art monitoring and operations center, offices for all 15 TPI employees, a board room, electric vehicle chargers, and other amenities.
TPI purchased the new building in December 2019 and have plans to start business full staff at its new location in June 2020. After the remodeling, the company’s headquarters will offer a full operations and monitoring center, giving access to every one of its solar and battery storage sites.
“We will be able to diagnose any problems or arising issues without having to go on site,” Denney said.
As a young company created in 2014, TPI intends to continue to expand their operations and employee base.
“We have been working in the utility-scale, commercial-scale and solar industry since 2014,” Denney said. “In 2018, we started expanding our portfolio to battery storage and EV charging stations. We are currently working on many more projects involving battery storage. We had a humble start, and we’re growing.”
Today’s Power, Inc. is owned by Electric Cooperatives and offers utility-scale and commercial solar and energy storage solutions as well as electric vehicles and charging solutions.
