The Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday released the kickoff times and networks for the first three football games this fall.
The Hogs will open with North Alabama Sept. 5 at 3:15 p.m. inside Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. The game will be televised by the SEC Network.
First-year head coach Ryan Silverfield will take the Hogs on the road in week 2 to face Utah. Kickoff from Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City is set for 9:15 p.m. CST on Sept. 12, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
The Hogs go from one of the last games in week two to one of the first in week three. The Hogs return home to open SEC play against Georgia on Sept. 19 at 11 a.m., with ABC nationally televising the game. No other start times or broadcast venues have been released.
Arkansas AD Hunter Yurachek issued a statement Wednesday afternoon taking the SEC and ESPN to task for giving Arkansas an early home game the week after a late-night West Coast trip. His statement:
