Arvest Bank has named a new vice president, branch administrator for central Arkansas. Tanya James has been named to the role and is one of four branch administrators for Arvest Bank’s four-state operational region.
Most recently, James served as the vice president, private banking advisor for the company.
As the branch administrator, James will be responsible for overseeing branch managers and branch operations at her Arvest location in west Little Rock, Maumelle, Conway and Morrilton. She will also oversee the business development and community relations efforts for this region.
“Tanya has earned the trust and respect of our customers and her fellow associates through her experience, knowledge and accomplishments,” Jim Cargill, president and CEO of Arvest Bank in Central, Northeast and Southwest Arkansas, said in a statement. “She is well-equipped to be successful in this new role and we are confident that our customers will be the beneficiaries of Tanya’s promotion.”
In addition to her professional role, James serves as a board member and vice president of development for the Junior League of Little Rock, as well as on the leadership board of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Arkansas. She is also a member of the Career & Technical Education Advisory Board for Little Rock Central High School, a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for Little Rock Rotary Club 99, a member of the Arkansas Women’s Leadership Forum, and is a graduate of the Little Rock Regional Chamber’s Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXIII.
