The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Supply Chain Hall of Fame will be opening in Rogers in October.
Announced in September 2019, the hall of fame will officially open on Oct. 8, 2020. The new facility will feature space for lectures, roundtable and other function, as well as space for exhibits on CSCMP Hall of Fame inductees.
“We are thrilled by the opening of the hall of fame in Northwest Arkansas,” Sam M. Walton College of Businessdean Matt Waller said in a statement. “It not only will highlight great achievements and innovations by the historic leaders in supply chain management, it will continue to drive supply chain innovation and research in our region, our business college and our university.”
At the grand opening, multiple officials and supply chain leaders are scheduled to speak. The speakers include Gov. Asa Hutchinson, University of Arkansas chancellor Joe Steinmetz, CSCMP CEO Rick Blasgen, J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. co-founder Johnelle Hunt, Johnson & Johnson executive vice president Kathy Wengel, Blue Yonder CEO Girish Rishi, Walton College professor Remko van Hoek, and Waller.
