Stephens Inc. announced Aug. 11 that Leigh Ann Biernat has joined the firm as senior vice president in the public finance division.
Biernat has 20 years of experience as a certified public accountant working for state and local government agency. She previously served as senior vice president of finance and administration for the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission and vice president of finance and administration with Arkansas Development Finance Authority.
“Leigh Ann brings a wealth of experience in all facets of municipal finance, bond issuance and underwriting, legislation, compliance and regulations,” said Dennis Hunt, Stephens executive vice president and manager of public finance. “Many of our clients in central Arkansas and our staff know Leigh Ann, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our team. She will be working closely with Jack Truemper, also a senior vice president with the firm.”
