STEP Ministries will hold its 2026 STEP Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, May 18, at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock.
The event benefits under-resourced children in central Arkansas who are facing challenges such as poverty, violence, lack of educational resources and fatherlessness by helping expand programs that equip children with the tools they need to succeed in school and in life.
With a mission to “End Violence. Create Futures. Foster Literacy. Love the Fatherless. Serve Your Community,” the Little Rock nonprofit continues to transform lives through mentoring, tutoring and its in-school Encourager program.
The tournament will feature a four-person scramble format with breakfast served at 8 a.m. and play beginning at 9 a.m. Participants can register teams or contribute through sponsorship opportunities.
“All proceeds from the tournament directly support our work with children who need it most,” said Mary Carol Pederson, STEP’s executive director. “Every swing, every sponsorship, and every participant helps us reach more young people with hope and with the skills they need to overcome the challenging obstacles they face everyday.”
