According to a press release from the Arkansas State Police on Friday, the ASP offered assistance to 10 women and two girls in Little Rock back in September during a one-day operation. All were considered to be victims of human trafficking.
The victims were offered food, temporary housing, therapy and drug rehabilitation, counseling and onsite medical services; five of the women accepted the help while the children were taken into protective custody and then released to DHS.
While investigators said 10 men were contacted and detained as part of the operation, no further details have been released due to the investigation still being in progress.
