Renowned Little Rock real estate agent Stacy Johnson Hamilton announced on Facebook that she will be leaving her 15-year-long career as an agent to take up a new position as association executive of the Little Rock Realtors Association (LRRA).
“I am honored to have been chosen by the Board to lead this organization of some 1,500 agents in the Metro area,” Hamilton said in the announcement. “Throughout my career, I have dedicated a significant amount of time volunteering for the Little Rock Realtors Association and other industry-related associations because they provided value to the real estate industry. I have absolutely loved my time as a volunteer working to protect this profession and ensure it remains an opportunity for others to have a career like what I have enjoyed.”
The current LRRA associate executive, Libby Shard, is retiring from the role after 20 years of service. She is working alongside Hamilton to support the transition, which will be finalized in early February.
“This job brings me back full-time to the advocacy work that I love. It gives me an opportunity to learn new and exciting strategies and opportunities to provide to our membership, and ultimately the clients we serve,” Hamilton said. “My goal is to make sure each realtor operating in Little Rock, Arkansas is offered ethics, education, and professional development opportunities to make them strong realtors who represent their clients to the very best of their ability and in doing so, cultivate successful careers.”
