St. Bernards Provides Region’s Only 24/7 Stroke Care Coverage

St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro now offers 24/7 neurointerventional stroke coverage, the hospital announced.

It is the only hospital in northeast Arkansas and southeast Missouri to offer this level of care, according to a press release.

The hospital also announced the addition of interventional neurologist Bhageeradh “Bhagee” Mulpur, M.D., to St. Bernards. Mulpur joins Dr. Nicolas Khattar, medical director of neurointervention.

“I am thrilled to have Dr. Mulpur here at St. Bernards,” Khattar said. “We share a passion for the highest level of patient care, and his arrival means that we are now able to provide world-class neurointerventional services 24/7 right here in northeast Arkansas.”
