Smiley Technologies recently announced the hiring of Marc Haynes as its Chief People Officer. Within this role, Haynes will oversee all functions related to Human Resources as well as creating and cultivating programs to support and enhance the company’s culture and employee experiences.
Based in Little Rock, Smiley Technologies, Inc. is a core provider for community banks that was founded in 2002 out of the need for better software and superior service. The company provides a trusted voice in the banking industry providing secure, innovative banking solutions and exceptional customer service that promotes valued strategic partnerships with its banking customers.
Prior to this role, Marc led Acxiom’s Global Workplace Experience (AWE) Organization, which included functions of enterprise-wide IT, office facilities, physical security, health & safety, and corporate amenities (fitness, food, travel, credit card programs). He first joined Acxiom in 2000 and again in 2006, holding multiple roles within Human Resources and Information Technology.

Before his career at Acxiom, Marc was the Chief of Human Resources and Loss Prevention Officer at Deluxe Media Services, held roles within Walmart Corporation, Kennametal Industries, plus owned a small chain of restaurants and a children’s clothing store. Marc graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and received his Master of Arts, Human Resources from Webster University.
