Arkansas Urology has named Emily Sledge as the new clinical director for the Centerview Surgery Center.
Sledge has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and began her nursing career as an operating room nurse at UAMS. She has served as an assistant clinical service manager for the operating room and leader with a focus on urological, gynecological and robotic services. Sledge served as the urology and gynecology service leader in the operating room at UAMS from 2015-2021.
“Emily’s exceptional capacity to multitask and manage competing priorities with ease while fostering delivery of superior patient care makes her an asset to the Centerview Surgery Center management team,” Arkansas Urology CEO E. Scot Davis said in a statement. “Throughout her career, she has been recognized as an excellent care provider, patient advocate, and leader in healthcare. We are thrilled about what her experience will add to the world class care we provide every day at Arkansas Urology and the Centerview Surgery Center.”
Sledge has been praised for her ability to excel in staff development and collaborations with ancillary departments, efficiency accountability and safety assurance.
