Sissy’s Log Cabin on Friday celebrated the grand opening of its first boutique storefront, located inside Pine Bluff’s Saracen Casino Resort.
It represents the eighth Sissy’s location. Sissy’s, founded in Pine Bluff in 1970 and billed as “the Mid-South’s largest family-owned and -operated retailer of natural diamonds, jewelry, estate pieces and fine gifts,” has six other locations across the state and one in Memphis.
“Pine Bluff will always be at the heart of the Sissy’s Log Cabin story, and opening a boutique inside Saracen Casino is a full-circle moment for our family and our brand,” said Bill Jones, CEO of Sissy’s Log Cabin. “This partnership allows us to bring our extraordinary jewelry and exceptional customer service to a space full of energy and celebration. We’ve always believed fine jewelry should be part of life’s biggest moments, and we’re proud to grow with Pine Bluff while helping guests mark everyday joys and once-in-a-lifetime milestones.”
According to a press release, the Sissy’s boutique at Saracen brings the signature “Sissy’s Experience” to the casino resort, offering guests “a curated selection of fine jewelry in an elevated, convenient retail setting. The space was designed by architect Jesse Balaity, the release stated.
“Saracen was designed with a focus on raising the bar for gaming and hospitality in Arkansas, and Sissy’s Log Cabin is a natural addition to that vision,” said Carlton Saffa, chief market officer for Saracen. “We see Sissy’s as the Tiffany’s of the South — their brand is interwoven into the fabric of Pine Bluff and Arkansas. Having Sissy’s as part of Saracen allows us to offer the property’s more than one million annual guests, something you’d see in Las Vegas, all while remaining distinctly Arkansas.”
