The Southeastern Conference has postponed the Arkansas Razorback’s upcoming game against the University of Missouri due to COVID-19 concerns.
The Arkansas at Missouri game had been scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 28. The SEC announced that it had been postponed as a result of positive tests and contact tracing within the Razorbacks’ football program.
Other football games have also been impacted due to COVID-19. The SEC postponed Vanderbilt’s matchup with Tennessee that was scheduled for Saturday. Instead, Vanderbilt and Missouri will play on Saturday.
Currently, a date has not been set to make up the Arkansas-Missouri game or the Tennessee-Vanderbilt game.
“As we continue to adapt to the current realities, it important to remain flexible as we move forward in the final weeks of the season,” SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said in a statement. “Contact tracing continues to be the biggest contributing factor to game interruptions. We will continue to manage the remaining weeks of the football schedule to allow for as many games to be played as possible.”
