The city of Searcy has been named one of the fastest-growing cities in Arkansas by the U.S. Census Bureau. According to the latest census data, the city’s population growth outpaced other Arkansas cities with at least 20,000 residents.
Ranked as the 95th fastest-growing city in the U.S., Searcy saw a 3.9% increase in population, growing from 22,918 in 2022 to 23,813 in 2023. From 2020 to 2023, the city’s growth rate was 3.8%, making it the ninth fastest-growing city in the state.
“We are thrilled to receive this recognition from the U.S. Census Bureau,” said Mayor Mat Faulkner. Searcy’s rapid growth is a testament to our vibrant community, strong economy, and exceptional quality of life.
