Razorback Head Football Coach Sam Pittman will kick off season 20 of the Little Rock Touchdown Club meeting on Aug. 19, 2024.
Pittman began his first season as the Head Coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks Football Team back in 2020. Now entering his fifth season of leading the program, he’s put in company with only six other coaches who have served the role for a longer timeframe.
As his bio on the Arkansas Razorbacks’ website reads:
After inheriting a program that had won eight total games and just one Southeastern Conference game in the previous three seasons, Pittman’s Razorbacks have won 23 games in his four seasons at the helm. Pittman has navigated the Hogs through the pandemic-shortened 2020 season that featured 10 SEC games, led the program to consecutive winning seasons and back-to-back bowl victories to bring back the state’s pride in the program.
Pittman spoke at the Little Rock Touchdown Club in 2023 about the previous season’s shortcomings, plans for the upcoming season and changes within the NIL.
“I do like our team,” Pittman said at last year’s meeting. “We’re physical. We lost that last year, and that includes me . . . The biggest thing now is we have depth.”
The full Little Rock Touchdown Club lineup for 2024 was announced earlier in the week.
Tickets to see Pittman speak at the Little Rock Touchdown Club are priced at $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Doors will open at 10:45 a.m. and the program will begin at 11:15 a.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Little Rock. Tickets can be purchased online.
The ticket deadline for this event is Friday, Aug. 16. After the purchase, you will be emailed a receipt from Fourth Quarter Productions confirming your reservation. If you do not wish to purchase your ticket online, you may print the form and bring it to the luncheon.
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend.
