Rose Law Firm has added Michael D. McGill, Ross E. Simpson and Nancy A. Smith as its newest members.
McGill has an established practice focusing on estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, business formation and nonprofit organizations.
He is a graduate of New York University, where he earned an LL.M. in Taxation, and is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he earned his J.D.
He was named to the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, is a graduate of Class III of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Heart of America Fellows Institute, and is currently participating in Leadership Benton County.
Simpson’s labor and employment practice focuses primarily on management-side labor and employment law, civil litigation and commercial litigation.
He received his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, graduating with honors and serving as the executive editor of the Arkansas Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, Simpson served for more than four years as a judicial term clerk to the Hon. Susan O. Hickey, district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas. He was named to the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and is a Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XLI member.
Smith focuses her practice on commercial contract and tort disputes, agency investigations and antitrust violations. She earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Arkansas Law Review. She was also named to the 2025 Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch List and the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. Smith is a former member of the Rotaract Club of Little Rock and is a graduate of Leadership Benton County.
McGill and Smith are located in the firm’s northwest Arkansas office, while Simpson is located in the Little Rock office.
