Fort Smith residents are set to benefit from high-speed, fiber optic internet as Ritter Communications begins a $6.3 million infrastructure investment to expand its RightFiber service. This expansion will bring multi-gig internet speeds and enhanced digital connectivity to local neighborhoods, marking a significant improvement in the area’s internet access.
Ritter Communications, which has served Fort Smith businesses for over two years, is deepening its commitment to the community through this residential expansion.
“This RightFiber expansion deepens our commitment to Fort Smith, connecting residential neighborhoods with advanced fiber internet with speeds up to 5 Gig,” Ritter Communications CEO Heath Simpson said.
RightFiber, Ritter’s fiber-to-the-home service, was launched in 2021, offering some of the fastest residential internet options in Arkansas and West Tennessee. Fort Smith Mayor George McGill welcomed the expansion, noting that it provides residents with a valuable new broadband option that supports the connectivity demands of modern life.
Residents can check availability and learn more about the service options at RightFiber.com. Notifications about service availability will be provided through various channels, including mail and door-to-door communication.
Headquartered in Jonesboro, Ritter Communications has been delivering advanced communications technology for over 115 years, maintaining a focus on customer experience and technological excellence.
