Baptist Health has announced the promotion of Jay Quebedeaux to president of regional hospitals, expanding his operational responsibilities across the health care system’s five regional facilities. In his new role, Quebedeaux will oversee hospitals in Arkadelphia, Heber Springs, Malvern, Monticello and Stuttgart, with all regional hospital presidents reporting directly to him.
Quebedeaux, who joined Baptist Health in 2022, will continue to serve as president for Baptist Health Medical Center-Hot Spring County and Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia. His leadership experience includes a seven-year tenure as CEO of Mena Regional Health System and previous executive roles in Louisiana, Texas and Colorado.
With an MBA from Amberton University and a BBA from Lamar University, Quebedeaux also brings his background as a medic and nurse with the 94th General Hospital from 1991 to 1998 to his leadership. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is actively involved in both professional and community organizations.
Quebedeaux’s family includes his wife, Barbara, and their two children, Jaden and Colt.
