Cozetta Jones, communications director for Pulaski County government, has earned accreditation in public relations (APR).
Members of the Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will hold a pinning ceremony in August to recognize Jones during the organization’s first in-person gathering in more than a year. Jones serves as spokesperson and promotes county initiatives and services for Pulaski County.
She was formerly communications director and a registered lobbyist for the Arkansas State Employees Association. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master’s degree in communications management from Webster University.
About 40 percent of Arkansas chapter members are accredited, making the chapter among the highest APR-to-member ratio of PRSA’s 111 chapters, according to a press release.
