The August heat may try to trick us into thinking summer is here to stay, but the truth is football is just around the corner.

Silverfield, the new caretaker of the Razorback football program, will open the 2026 club season, which the head Hog traditionally does. This year’s speaker lineup is headlined by former Dallas Cowboy and pro football hall-of-famer Emmitt Smith, one of the greatest running backs to ever play the game.
Other luminaries include Heisman winner Doug Flutie, Steeler great Lynn Swann, and what is sure to be the most talked-about appearance of the year, a dual bill of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former President Bill Clinton. We also preview the ‘26 club lineup and preview Silverfield’s upcoming first season as an SEC coach.
