Peyton Hillis will be joining the Little Rock Touchdown Club this Monday, Sept. 25 for the weekly meeting.
Peyton Hillis is an Arkansas native and former NFL running back for the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants across his career from 2008 to 2014. A graduate of Conway High School, Hillis was recruited to the Arkansas Razorbacks where he most often played as a fullback and tied for most touchdowns scored by a SEC freshman. Despite strong performances in the NFL that resulted in Hillis becoming the cover athlete for Madden NFL 12 in 2011, his career was plagued by frequent injuries. Nevertheless, he earned 2,832 rushing years, 1,050 receiving yards and 23 rushing touchdowns across his career. He retired in 2015 and was hospitalized in 2023 after rescuing his 8-year-old niece and 9-year-old son from a riptide.
Tickets to see Hillis speak at the Little Rock Touchdown Club are priced at $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Little Rock. Tickets can be purchased online.
