Two fintech companies with Arkansas ties are forming a strategic partnership to drive digital growth.
Finzly, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Fintel Connect, based in Vancouver, Canada are integrating their platforms to provide banking partners with a more seamless experience.
Both fintechs participated in the second annual ICBA ThinkTECH accelerator in 2020. This accelerator was the first accelerator hosted by the Venture Center to be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. While the first part of the accelerator was conducted in Little Rock, the accelerator went virtual as the pandemic spread worldwide.
Finzly offers a cloud-based operating system, allowing for real-time payments. This system, called BankOS, can be integrated with other fintech technology to meet individual banks’ custom needs. Fintel Connect is a data and marketing-focused fintech that aims to support companies in growing digital footprints.
According to Finzly chief strategy officer Dave Hunkele, the partnership will allow Finzly customers access to a “cost effective, digital channel for attracting new customers” that will help them increase their growth opportunities and expand product and service accesss.
“As more financial institutions focus on strengthening their digital offerings, it’s essential that they choose the right technology partners,” Fintel Connect founder and CEO Nicky Senyard said in a statement. “Finzly and Fintel Connect are aligned to deliver the best customer experience for our bank partners and our solutions are more impactful together. To do what we do well, we rely on customer-friendly journeys to account creation, and Finzly delivers just that.”
