A new website has been launched to help Arkansas businesses access resources related to the COVID-19 vaccine.
A group of Arkansas health care and business interests has partnered to launch vaccinatearkansas.com as part of the recently unveiled Vaccinate the Natural State initiative. The partners include Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care, Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas, Northwest Arkansas Council and Walmart.
This business-to-business website is designed to encourage individuals to get vaccinated, providing information and educational resources. Through the video modules and tools offered through the website, employers can help their employees go through the vaccination process.
The tooks include video guides, printable materials, vaccine news, resource links, a social media tool kit and a list of frequent asked questions and answers.
“Arkansas’ business leaders play a vital role providing COVID-19 vaccine information to their employees,” Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield CEO and president Curtis Barnett said in a statement. “Through these resources, we want to empower employers to provide accurate and helpful information while encouraging their workforces to get the vaccine. Business-to-Business engagement is a primary focus for the Vaccinate the Natural State initiative, and our statewide communities will benefit when Arkansas businesses chose to take action in the fight against COVID-19.”
