The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation (WRF) will be unveiling a new report demonstrating racial and gender disparities in small business loans.
Commissioned by WRF and Winrock International, the Arkansas Small Business Access to Capital report will be revealed during a webinar on Monday, March 1 at 3 p.m. This report is part of WRF’s ABC’s of Equity series.
During the Grow AR Own: Access to Capital in Arkansas webinar, multiple state and community stakeholders will be discussing the report and findings. WRF chief innovation officer Rev. Cory Anderson, Precise Data Consulting principal researcher Dr. Julia Chears-Young, Arkansas Small Business Administration district director Edward Haddock, Encore Bank chief community outreach officer Miguel Lopez, Elite Trucking LLC CEO Bridgette Perkins, Arvest Bank director of community development Hillis Schild, and Southern Bancorp CEO Darrin Williams will be speaking during the webinar.
These leaders will be discussing solutions for improving lending policies and other best practices for equitable growth for entrepreneurs of color in Arkansas.
