Representatives from Powers of Arkansas recently broke ground for a new office at 1100 Kendrick in Springdale. The new facility will replace the company’s current Northwest Arkansas location at 1219 Wagon Wheel Road in Springdale.
Headquartered in North Little Rock, Powers is the region’s premier provider of building automation controls, HVAC (heating and cooling) equipment, air distribution, and controls and mechanical service for a wide range of commercial buildings. Its roots in Northwest Arkansas go back to 1987 with the installation of HVAC controls in a hospital that would later become Northwest Medical Center.
From higher education institutions and medical facilities to K-12 schools and commercial office spaces, Powers Northwest Arkansas has done work for some of the largest operations in the region.
“This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration and exemplary service,” said Vice President Chase Ransom, PE. “It will be a testament to our unwavering commitment to our customers and our Northwest Arkansas region.”
Also present for the groundbreaking were representatives from C. R. Crawford, the building contractor, as well as Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse and members of the city council and the Springdale Chamber of Commerce.
“We owe our success to the unwavering support of our customers, the tireless efforts of our dedicated team and the trust bestowed upon us by the communities we serve,” Ransom added.
The new office is set to open in March 2024.
