Murphy USA is launching a new multi-phase campaign in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to raise $500,000. The ‘Great Futures Fueled Here’ campaign will be active at Murphy USA and Murphy Express stations in 25 states.
Currently, $1.5 million has already been raised to further the Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission. The $500,000 goal is in addition to these funds.
Phase 1 of the campaign runs from April 7 to July 6, with Phase 2 running from August 4 to November 2. Customers wishing to participate in the campaign can donate $1, $5 or $10, or can round up their purchases to the nearest dollar when checking out.
“Giving back is part of our broader mission and commitment as an organization to our team members, customers, and communities. We are passionate about providing opportunities for the next generation,” Murphy USA president and CEO Andrew Clyde said in a statement. “That’s why we are proud to be a national partner of Boys and Girls Clubs of America, supporting local clubs where we operate through our ‘Great Futures Fueled Here’ campaign. In the second year of our partnership, we will again leverage our team members across the chain to encourage customers to “Round-up” their purchases to provide much needed funding to their local Boys and Girls Clubs. This financial support helps to provide youth in our communities with the essential tools for cultivating a successful future.”
The funds raised are intended to support the Boys and Girls Clubs in continuing youth development programs during non-school hours. There are more than 4,700 clubs that serve 4.6 million individuals, according to a Murphy USA release.
