Donald Smith has had the interim tag removed from his CFO title at El Dorado’s Murphy USA.
Smith had served as interim CFO and vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer. The Murphy USA board on April 3 appointed him as “senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of the company,” according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to the SEC filing, Smith’s base annual salary was increased to $550,000, and his target annual cash bonus opportunity was increased to 70 percent. He received a one-time cash bonus of $45,000 in addition to other incentives.
Murphy USA was the retail arm of Murphy Oil. It operates 1,800 retail convenience-store locations.
