Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana (RMHCAR-NLA) has announced the promotion of Alex Hudson to Development Manager, effective immediately. Hudson’s new role recognizes his contributions to the organization and his dedication to helping families while fostering meaningful connections with donors.
Hudson joined RMHCAR-NLA in September 2021 as a special events manager and quickly made an impact by transforming fundraising efforts. Under his leadership, the organization launched a reimagined, 400-person Vegas-style event and expanded its annual black-tie gala to attract 900 attendees. Both events saw year-over-year increases in participation and funds raised.
In his new position, Hudson will take on a broader role in fundraising, engaging with established and prospective donors while continuing to oversee major events. His commitment to RMHCAR-NLA’s mission is expected to strengthen donor relationships and expand support for the charity’s work.
“Alex’s promotion to Development Manager was a natural step in his growth with our organization,” said Janell Mason, CEO of RMHCAR-NLA. “We are excited to have his enthusiasm for our mission and interest in expanding our circle of support. Alex has always been an asset to our donors, event committees and volunteers. I am confident that his stewardship will continue to drive our mission forward.”
