Happy birthday, indeed. MHP/Team Si, one of the state’s oldest and largest full-service marketing agencies, recently announced a rebranding and expanded next-generation leadership in conjunction with the agency’s 52nd anniversary.
Now streamlined as mhp.si, the agency named Julie C. Robbins, vice president of client services, and Whitney Burgess Scales, vice president of market strategy, as its newest shareholders.
The two join an executive leadership team that includes David Rainwater, executive council; shareholder Kristen Vandaveer Nicholson, accredited in public relations; and longtime partners Lannie Byrd, C.C. “Chip” Culpepper, Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl and Tim Whitley.
“As we celebrate our 52nd birthday, we mark the next chapter in our company’s history. I couldn’t be more proud to reveal a refreshed brand and expanded leadership group at mhp.si,” said Vogelpoh, president and CEO. “Julie and Whitney have a combined 30 years at the agency and are the backbone of our client service and strategy teams that are focused on strategy, performance and results.”
In light of national trends that indicate companies are moving toward hiring marketing firms that provide a full range of integrated services under one roof, mhp.si’s newly launched brand position of “strategy, performance, results,” symbolizes the linear nature of the agency’s integrated approach.
“Our purpose statement is, ‘We positively impact our clients’ business through constantly innovating our own,’” Vogelpohl said. “Our leadership team continues to expand to add the vertical expertise needed to keep pace with the continually expanding market landscape. We have whole divisions of our company, such as the content studio, marketing automation and analytics/reporting teams, that didn’t exist five years ago. That’s what is needed to be considered full service in today’s environment.”
Robbins joined mhp.si in 2003 as a public relations account executive. A former newspaper editor and nonprofit communicator, Robbins leads the agency’s client-facing team of account executives and project managers to keep the strategies, budgets, deliverables and timelines on target.
