Several Little Rock-based public relations firms and organizations received top honors at the national Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Anvil Awards, which were held May 15 in New York. Recognized for their creativity, impact and strategic execution, the winning campaigns highlight Arkansas’ growing influence in the field of communications.
Among the standout recipients were:
Garver, which earned a Silver Anvil for its educational initiative, “Recruiting 4th Graders for Engineering Careers.”
The Peacock Group, honored with both an Award of Excellence for its work on “Every Mother Counts and Ingeborg Initiatives” at the Bentonville Film Festival, and a Silver Anvil for its “Ella the Banker” book launch campaign, supported by the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.
Rotary Club of Little Rock, in partnership with Ghidotti Communications, received an Award of Excellence for the “Power of Fun” campaign.
The Silver Anvil Awards are among the most prestigious recognitions in the PR industry. According to PRSA, the awards “single out the best communications campaigns of the year, as well as outstanding organizational excellence.” The Bronze Anvil Awards recognize standout communication tactics.
“As an Arkansan, I was thrilled to see these companies recognized for their hard work and continued effort to propel our profession forward,” said Heide Harrell, APR, the 2025 National PRSA Chair-Elect. “I’m proud of our state’s impact on the communications industry as well as my colleagues who represent our state so well.”
The Arkansas Chapter of PRSA includes more than 120 members across government, business, nonprofit and academic sectors, and is noted for having the highest number of accredited members per capita nationwide.
“This is well-deserved and hard-earned recognition for several chapter members, and it reinforces what we have known all along — that the PRSA Arkansas Chapter members produce some of the best strategic public relations campaigns and excellence in our industry,” said Stella Prather, APR, president of the Arkansas PRSA Chapter. “I couldn’t be prouder about this win and recognition.”
