Lexicon, Inc. is promoting Danna Gauntt to vice president of human resources. A nearly 30-year veteran of the company, she will oversee the department responsible for staffing the 1,800-plus employee organization.
The Lexicon family of companies provides a wide range of services, including construction management, steel fabrication, erection, mechanical installation and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial and bridge projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction, renovation and management services. Based in Little Rock, the company now includes Custom Metals, Prospect Steel, Steel Fabricators of Monroe, Lexicon Energy Services, Lexicon Industrial Constructors, Lexicon Industrial Maintenance and Heritage Links.
“Danna has helped build our HR department—and our workforce—from the ground up,” said Patrick Schueck, president and CEO. “Her well-deserved promotion showcases why we are passionate about investing in our people and helping them grow within our company.”
Gauntt has spent her career in HR. She joined Lexicon in 1992 after working as an HR manager for a regional bank. Since then, she has served as its HR director.
“When I started with Lexicon, our only real benefit was insurance,” said Gauntt. “Today, we are proud to offer employees a comprehensive benefits package that rivals any other company in our industry.”
