The Arkansas Broadcasters Association has named Leigh Ann Brannon its new executive director.
She replaces legendary Arkansas broadcaster Neal Gladner, who is retiring upon conclusion of the association’s upcoming convention on Sept. 15. Brannon will assume her new role then. She is the wife of longtime KTHV meteorologist and host Tom Brannon.
“I look forward to advocating for Arkansas broadcasters, building and strengthening connections across our industry, and creating opportunities for members to network, collaborate and grow,” Brannon said.
Brannon has been the group’s membership director. She previously worked in broadcast TV advertising sales, healthcare sales, nonprofit fundraising and event management.
“We are thrilled to promote Leigh Ann to the executive director position”, said ABA President Kristen Speer. “She’s been a leader in her current role, has a tremendous knowledge base about our Association and is very deserving.”
