The Junior Achievement of Arkansas annual Hall of Fame Business Luncheon, celebrating outstanding business leaders who have made significant contributions to the local community, is set for May 7, 2026.
The event will be held at the new North Little Rock Event Center.
“We are thrilled to celebrate these distinguished leaders who serve as role models for the next generation of entrepreneurs,” said Tonya Villines, president & CEO of Junior Achievement of Arkansas. “Their achievements not only drive our local economy but also inspire young people to pursue their own dreams.”
Alisha Curtis, director of development for the Razorback Foundation, will serve as the event emcee and Heather Baker, AY Media president and publisher, will present the JA Experian Scholarships to three high school students from central Arkansas. AY Media Group is the event’s HOF media sponsor.
The Experian scholarships are awarded to junior or senior high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and a strong commitment to financial literacy. Applications are being received now through April 4 and are open to Central Arkansas junior or senior high school students in Central Arkansas. Applications can be submitted here.
“Experian aims to modernize and normalize conversations and awareness around credit and financial literacy among young people. We are proud to partner with Junior Achievement of Arkansas to support hands-on learning, work readiness training, mentorship and financial literacy education,” said David Fort, director of business development for Experian. “These efforts spark early, financially healthy habits that can make a positive difference in their lives and future.”
Neill Linebarier of Summit Utilities will serve as honorary chair of the luncheon.
“It’s an honor to help lead an event that celebrates individuals who have shaped our business community while also opening doors for students across the state,” he said. “That combination of legacy and future impact is what makes this luncheon so special.”
Marsha Martin will be recognized as a 2026 Hall of Fame Laureate. Throughout a distinguished career, she has served as CEO at Dream Big Investments, where she has championed economic growth, innovation and community involvement.
JA will also present the Nelson Summit Award to Ally. This award recognizes organizations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to empowering youth and supporting educational and career readiness initiatives. The Ally partnership with Junior Achievement has provided invaluable resources and opportunities for students across Arkansas, helping them build brighter futures through financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workforce preparedness.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 7. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available here. Proceeds from the event will support Junior Achievement’s mission to prepare young people for economic success through financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work-readiness education.
