Jim McMahon will be joining the Little Rock Touchdown Club this Monday, Oct. 2, for the weekly meeting.
Jim McMahon is a former NFL quarterback who played for seven different teams across his 15-year career. Born in New Jersey, McMahon grew up in California and later Utah, where he played college football for the Brigham Young University Cougars and set 32 NCAA records in one season. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1982 and became the team’s starting quarterback. In 1985, he led the team to what Sports Illustrated later voted as its greatest of all time, winning the team’s first Super Bowl title at Super Bowl XX. McMahon retired from the NFL following the 1996 season with the Green Bay Packers.
