The Soderquist College of Business at John Brown University is adding a series of new offerings to its undergraduate and graduate programs.
Starting in fall 2021, the College of Business will offer four new degrees. One of the degrees will be a bachelor of science in integrated marketing communications. The other three will be economics degree, including a bachelor of business administration, a bachelor of science and a bachelor of arts.
“We consistently strive to be relevant with our offerings in the College of Business. We want to provide our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter today’s workforce; therefore, we continually seek input from many stakeholders who are in the industry. These programs help meet needs that have been expressed and will provide even more options for our students,” Soderquist College of Business dean Dr. Ryan Ladner said in a statement.
The integrated marketing communications degree will focus on the “interconnectedness of communication methods used by businesses to reach customers, including, but not limited to advertising, public relations, marketing, branding, promotions, personal selling, and analytics,” according to a university news release.
John Brown University will also add an accounting concentration for MBA candidates. This concentration will be available to students starting in fall 2021.
The accounting concentration is designed to provide a “financially focused concentration for professional development.”
