With Project Scope, the Arkansas Research Alliance (ARA) is aiming to shine a light on the research efforts going on throughout the state.
Launched on Sept. 23, 2020, Project Scope is a series of webinars, featuring ARA researchers discussing their work. Each webinar consists of an hour-long presentation and discussion, taking place on the video streaming platform Zoom.
ARA Fellow Dr. Laura James will present the next edition of Project Scope. James is the director of the UAMS Translational Research Institute (TRI), as well as a pediatrician at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
In her talk, James will highlight her work as the TRI director and research connected with UAMS’ COVID-19 relief efforts. “As director of the UAMS Translational Research Institute (TRI), Dr. James has an extraordinary impact on moving research from the laboratory to patient impact,” ARA president and CEO Jerry Adams said in a statement.
All of the ARA Project Scope webinars will be free and open to the public. Registration is required and can be accessed here.
